Glavna Beach in Punta, Umag, is a sandy bathing spot beside the Miramare promenade. Its gentle entry suits small children, who still need supervision.
The bay lies beside the Miramare promenade, west of Hotel Umag and near Hotel Sipar. It is about a kilometre and a half from the centre of Umag.
Sand in the sea, different surfaces ashore
Concrete and grassy areas adjoin the sandy shore, with a shady pine wood nearby. The water deepens gradually over the sandy seabed.
There are showers and toilets by the bathing area, with a playground and a beach volleyball court close by. Marea Beach Bar stands beside the southern part of the shore.
