Uboka Beach near Sveta Jelena

Uboka’s pebble shore lies below a wooded slope between Mošćenička Draga and Brseč. You reach the cove on foot from the coastal road or by boat.

Uboka and Jelenšćica are two separate coves on the coast below Sveta Jelena. Uboka is the northern one, towards Mošćenička Draga. The beach occupies the head of the cove, with pebbles giving way to rocks at either side. A wooded slope rises behind the beach, separating it from the Rijeka–Pula road.

The approach on land involves walking down from the road along a woodland path. Allow for the climb back after swimming and wear shoes with a good grip for the walk. Bring water and sun protection. Trees behind the beach do not mean you can count on spending the whole day in shade.

Further south, below Brseč itself, lies Klančac Beach. Its walking route starts in the village, whereas the descent to Uboka begins on the coastal road.
