Duga Uvala Beach in the municipality of Marčana
Duga Uvala is a pebble beach in a narrow arm of Vinjole Bay. Punta, a separate dog beach, lies on the rocky shore towards the mouth of this inlet.
The main beach forms a curved strip of pebbles at the head of the inlet, with trees behind it and rocky shores on either side.
Asphalt roads lead to the Duga Uvala holiday complex, followed by a pedestrian approach to the beach. The buildings and roads stand behind the shore.
Punta and Vinjola are separate beaches
Punta lies on the western side of the inlet, closer to its mouth and the wider bay. This designated dog beach is separate from Duga Uvala’s central pebble shore.
Another beach, named Vinjola, lies further south. Keep this shore distinct from Duga Uvala at the head of the inlet when choosing your destination, although both belong to the Vinjole Bay area.
