Ičići Beach: pebbles and concrete beside the village

Ičići’s main beach lies south of the ACI marina beside the coastal road. Pebble sections alternate with concrete areas along the shore.

Ičići lies on the riviera south of Opatija. The beach follows the curve of the coast between the marina to the north and the smaller village harbour to the south. The wider pebble section sits in the inlet towards the village, with concrete areas along other parts of the shore. The beach at Hotel Ičići is a separate bathing area.

Liburnijska Street runs immediately behind the beach. The campsite and some houses stand across the road, so staying nearby does not necessarily mean reaching the sea without crossing it.

Bathing water quality is monitored at two separate sites, the beginning and the end of the beach. Samples from both sites taken on 21 September 2026 were rated excellent. At the beginning of the beach, two additional samples taken on 14 September were rated good.
