Mala Kolombarica: a rocky cove on Kamenjak
Mala Kolombarica on Kamenjak has a small beach inside an open sea cave. Rocks surround it, and a nearby shallow cleft is dangerous for jumping.
The cove lies on the southern part of Lower Kamenjak, below Safari Bar and west of Velika Kolombarica.
A small beach lies inside the high, open sea cave, surrounded by rocky shore. Underwater, stones alternate with gravel and sand. Sandy patches on the seabed do not mean there is a wide sandy beach on land.
A shallow cleft in the rock lies nearby. Do not jump into it, and do not enter the cave when there are waves.
The Kamenjak guide covers arrival via Premantura, vehicle access and rules for moving through the protected area. The map point for this profile marks the rocky coastal area of Mala Kolombarica, not a car park or a verified descent to the beach.
